The type of trickel charger - maintainer is available in any good auto part
sstore or any Target or general store - it is made by Schaumer and works very
well - I believe that all these other ones are just private label of the
Schaumer charger. Several years ago even Sears had this same version except
fro
10.00 dollars more.
They can stay connected all the time and even reduce the carge as they load
up the battery,

Listers In the discussion of batteries, Jerry Felper noted that he
uses a charger to keep the battery up to charge. Id like to add to that
by saying I use a device called the SureCharge IV. The device is of
modular construction and simply plugs into the wall. The battery
attaching wire (supplied) has two options to attach it to a battery. One
uses battery clips and the other a semi-permanent attachment to the
battery cables. A third method is to get a cigar lighter plug from Radio
Shack. Currently my chargers are attached in the cars to a Jag, 2 Rovers
and a 911. The TDs battery is on the shelf with the charger attached
using the clip method.
The nice thing is that it does work and the price is right at 49.95
including shipping to the USA. The charger comes with a 5-year
warrantee. It is advertised in various mags but recently I see it in
Classic Motorsports (formerly British Car) on page103. I have no
association with the company except to say I am a very satisfied customer.
