Coming home this afternoon from GoF South (Palm Coast, FL), the filament of
the Ignition Warning Light came on dim, but steady. The ammeter was negative
a few amps (fuel pump, etc. operating). I stopped and tightened the loose
fan belt, but this did not correct the problem. What is likely the culprit?
Brushes? Before I tear the generator apart, I am hoping someone can steer me
in the right direction.
