If you read those voltages #at the battery terminals# and there was no smoke
anywhere, then the battery contains little or no charge.
This could be because the generator hasn't produced any electricity, or
because the battery itself has ceased to store charge. This (the battery
failing) happened to a friend of mine, but not in a T-type. He drove to
work, came out later and found the car wouldn't go. One cell had reversed
its polarity in this short time.
Try another battery and see if the car now goes.
