You have your car out of storage already?!? You must be pretty far south of
me then... There's still a foot of snow on the ground and plenty of salt on
the road in Peacham.
Anyhow, I'd second the notion of battery cables, clamps, etc. Did you charge
the battery before setting out? When you connected up the charger after
getting it home, did it act like it was empty or charged? How was the
battery stored? Visible corrosion on the terminals? Battery cells propoerly
filled? Good hydrometer test?
I hope there's something helpful in there somewhere...
