Just to echo Skip, I have used Red Line MT-90 transmission fluid and have
had amazing success. It has a special additive that causes the synchros to
better engage. Before using MT-90, my freshly overhauled gearbox was a bit
stiff, and it was very easy to "beat the synchros". I had to shift at a
snail's pace. With MT-90, shifting is normal.
For the other Red Line products, I have no direct experience and can't
recommend one way or the other. Because of their reputation in racing,
however, I would expect the other products to also be quite good. Their web
site is www.redlineoil.com
