P.S. Just for the record, the engine that's in my TF was sleeved (all four) in
1966. The previous owner had bored the block .080 and fitted new pistons. The
block cracked, I was told, in less than 1000 miles. I had it sleeved and bored
.080 so that I could use those almost new pistons. I probably haven't put
10,000 miles on it in those 35 years, but there's been no problem.
I asked the question because I wasn't sure of the preferred approach when only
one cylinder was bad and the engine had not been overbored to the extreme.
