You should be able to manufacture the leather cup seal from a piece of old shoe
leather.  After cutting out the right shape, throughly wet the leather and form
it into the shape you need using wooden forms, pieces of tubing etc.  I have
made the leather cup seals for Coleman lanterns that way.
