The vacuum turn signal has a strip of leather (not felt on my car) for
sealing. The leather typically
dries out over the years and leaks. Lubricate the leather thoroughly with
oil and rub the oil into the leather. Then apply grease. It should now
seal properly. You can set the adjustment screw for the duration you would
like the signal lights to stay on.
