I agree here. When i restored my TD, I took the trouble to fabricate a fiberglass glove box, deeper than the original, so i could hide a modern radio. Got it all done, have nice speakers, but can't hear the darned thing when I'm driving fast. I should say, I can hear it, but with the volume turned up, it is not like being in a closed vehicle where it is nice and quiet. Won't put a radio in any more open top cars! Larry Long  |
