I wounder if maybe you had the work done at Orange Coast Plating,
instead of Orange County Plating. I had radiator shell rechromed at
Orange Coast around that time. Came back with what looked like a water
drip running down the front face. They said it came in like that, and
would charge again to run it through and remove drip. Needless to say,
they are no longer in business.
