Gauge #1 sounds like it may be from an early TD - the ones without the dual
oil/temp gauge. My early TD has the same number - 45854, is marked LBS. PER
SQ. INCH across the top, British Jaeger about in the middle, is 0 - 160 lbs
marked out in two pound increments, and uses a double line script for the
numerals (hollow strokes) and for the word OIL. It uses a solid script for
other lettering.

I have two TC oil gauges (at least I think I do!) with two different
dials.

Gauge 1
Says Lbs st inch across the top.. part no 45854
no made in England writing anywhere

Gauge 2
says Made in England acorss the top. Towards the centre it says
Lb/then a square, then "

at the bottom says x45854

both are Jaeger, are 0-160 and have correct colour faces for TC

any ideas?
