Steve, I knew that carrot would get a bite!!
Which distributor do you want?

DISTRIBUT># 40048         40058      40162
ECMCurve         279             267          279

run up to=       2600            2500        2600
advance=       14-16           14-16       14-16

Int adv1.@      2000             2000        2000
advance =     13-15            12-14        13-15

Int adv2 @     500                 800          1000
advance= 11/2-31/2             2-5      81/2-101/2

No advance   200                 400           200
below

Don't ask me why 40048 and 40162 differ at the int 2, maybe we can just
consider the 1000 rpm advance on 40162 as another intermediate point? (
Remember they had the same 279 ECM curve).

All numbers are DISTRIBUTOR speed and advance. Double both for crankshaft
speed and advance.
The book says"Auto-advance test figures are quoted for DISTRIBUTOR SHAFT
RPM on DECELERATION"
So there you have it, all, and maybe more, than you ever wanted to know.
