Hit delete now.... and no, you do not have to answer or reply... No, I am not seeking rule changes...just education...... Ok, so I am continuously reading the short page and a half of MS rules, para 5.D.4, and I see that the front suspension can be narrowed to a "tread width" of 27 inches. Now my basic understanding of tread width is that width of rubber on a tire that has grooves in it. Track Width, I understand as the width between center lines of tires on an axle. My front "track width" is about 58 inches (ie center of one tire to the other tire) while my "tread width" is about 5 inches as I measure it. What's correct? My curiosity abounds.... mayf -- ______________________________ drmayf Worlds Fastest Sunbeam, period. 204.913 mph flying mile 210.779 mph exit speed _______________________________________________ Land-speed@autox.team.net Archive: http://www.team.net/archive |
