supercharger verses turbo charger
they each have their merit
superchargers give instant power all the way through the rev range ,ideal
for drag racing .
the down side takes power to drive ,is hard on connecting rods and cranks .
turbo chargers give good power ,can be intercooled to reduce intake
temperature increasing efficientcy .
turbo power is easier on rods and cranks .
the down side is turbo lag ,delayed throttle response . also they create a
lot of heat under the hood .
