| Over the years I have worked at the Budweiser Plant in Van Nuys, California. The last time I worked there was in 1998 moving 18 palletizers. I asked the chief engineer on the project what the most expensive part was in making a can of beer. His reply was that the can and lid cost 8 cents, the content of the can only cost 1/2 cent.
