Pork Pie and everybody thank you - I now understand my error has been trying
to apply two dimensional rules to three dimensional aerodynamic questions - I
have learned the book I need is "Hoerner Fluid Dynamic Drag" - If you get the
right answer often enough you'll learn the right question - John
