It makes one think about the power behind it. The explosion blew one cubic
mile of dirt into the air that circled the earth. My Daughter lives in
southern Oregon and they had to shovel ashe out for days. I can't imagine
what a cubic mile of dirt and rock must look like from an airplane, wow,
what a ride. Like most I followed the eruption on TV for days and was in
awe. The way the mountain recovered is something else. Mother nature is a
lot smarted then we give her credit for at times. You still can't fool her
or beat her.
