Mount St. Helen's is showing signs of increased volcanic activity again. Here's a site that has a photo of the mountain that is refreshed every five minutes. Could be an interesting view if the activity increases. http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/ My wife's cousin was in an airliner, passing near the mountain when it blew a few years ago. They avoided the ash but felt the explosion inside the plane. Guess I'm just more sensitive about the possibilities after hearing her story. Wes |
