Question: Why do the low compression (I think 9 to 1) NASCAR motors run hotter combustion temps then the 12 to 1 motors? Believe the fuel is different too as the low compression motors may have to run 93 octane and the higher compression ones run 110 octane. How would all this effect ignition timing, if any? JB |
