Thanks for the information Doc. I plan on being easier on the brakes now that i see that their limits are less than I expected. The last thing I did before mounting them was wipe them off with MEK -- twice. I use silicon brake grease from Ford on the pins and a high temp synthetic moly grease on the other sliding surfaces. I keep the pads in a zip lock bag until I drop them in. The pads came with an anti noise "thing" that snaps on the back of the pad. So far they are quieter than the OEM stuff. Thanks again, Bryan |
