"When you spin (at some point during the 360) you are going BACKWARDS! The
rail is not going to help at all."
Have personally been in this position before, over 200 MPH, and in more than
one car. Don't know if the rails helped any or not, but the cars didn't go
airborne in any case.
"Tom Bryant mentioned last year that when he added rails, the car got really
squirrelly. I think the cause was rail misalignment. However, Tom did not
precisely blame the rails for the poor handling. -Elon"
Have had 5 different vehicles on the salt over the years. Can honesty say
that, to the best of my knowledge, my rails never contributed to any
handling issues.
