Hi Joe I know what your saying! I guess the way I justify my nebulous logic,
is spinning tires use up time, not distance. We are faced with a distance, not
a time problem. Stupid example -- I could spin tires for 5 minutes in a
puddle of oil at the start, not moving, which would not effect top speed at the
end
of 5mi. I think controllability, and being able to use max power at all
times, is top speed friendly.Jack
