One more to add to the list. Found this out many years ago when I had my 68
Mustang, and was converting it from the stock 6 cyl setup. The 9 inch rear
from an early 70's Fairlane station wagon fits flange width wise, but the
spring mounting pads widths are different. Look for one with power disc
brakes and you also gain 11" x 2" read drum bakes. I also found out the
front spindles were a direct swap only requiring the Fairlane tie rod ends.
Ends up being one heck of a whoa package for a Mustang.
