Southern California could use the weather we're getting right now. Two
close friends have lost homes in the Rim Forest - Big Bear area that I know
of. Both are homes they have put lots of love and care into.
Yesterday at this time we had sunny skies and 73 degree temperatures with a
brisk south breeze ...
Today it's 34 degrees with light snow.
The two active fires in our immediate area, one north of Salt Lake 20 miles
on the mountain face and the other, 50 miles south in a canyon, should be
calmed way down by this precipitation and no wind. Great news for the fire
crews.
I'm dressing WARM for the football game tonight.
