Maybe they could simply get one of those new Cadillac V-16 engines that were
shown at the Detroit Auto Show.

the OEM, and the racer has had them permanently put-together-- say, by
welding--??

Let's wait and see when one shows up. Please refer to welding/brazing thread
from earlier in the month for ideas on how to hope for a long life from the
crank and associated pieces.
