Last week some figures were posted (re-posted)
showing HP loss for Powerglide, TH350 and TH400.
Is that due to moving parts in the tranny or
slippage in the torque converter? Wouldn't a
lock-up torque converter result in more rear
wheel HP?
I'm still trying to figure what to use in my car.
The Camaro has a TH400, but the new car that I'm
building is open for (boneyard) suggestions. How
much will I really lose at the big end if I use a
Powerglide rather than a 4 speed?
