I can't imagine that it would slow you down and just might help. Unless
you're running production, I think you could make greater improvements in
drag elsewhere. How much will they charge to add the hump?
One advantage to the hump is additional protection to that area of the
spine. I'll be using a full spine protector/kidney belt, I'd suggest you
did too.
I don't personally like the looks of the hump, but I'm considering it for my
new leathers (Bates). If it works ...

Subject: Aerodynamic Leathers?
What's the opinion on the aerodynamic "hump" that some racers sport on their
backs these days? Do the humps do anything but increase the (assumed)
coolness of the wearer? Is there a real reduction in drag and other nasty
effects? Should I pony up the handful of bucks for a hump to wear this
year?
