Well, here goes from that guy 'way up there, about 175 miles north of the
Green Bay Packers. 262" of snow this year - and it's sunny and 50 right
now. Only another foot of snow and we'll break the record - why not go for
it?
Anyway, this morning I went to the clothing store to get (re)measured for my
leathers. They're a couple of years old and a bit "snug here, loose there".
I'll return 'em to Z Leathers for the changes as necessary, but wonder
(here's the question, folks): What's the opinion on the aerodynamic "hump"
that some racers sport on their backs these days? Do the humps do anything
but increase the (assumed) coolness of the wearer? Is there a real
reduction in drag and other nasty effects? Should I pony up the handful of
bucks for a hump to wear this year?
Fire away, please.
Jon
