Keith, Won't get into this much as I had my chance on the "private thread" but
did you include closed courses in your venues? Many records have been set at
Fort
Stockton and other tracks that are in excess of Bonneville records. Also, I have
friends running open-road race cars in excess of Bonneville records. Do they
count? One of my concerns for "certifying" a world record would be conforming to
a consistant track length, & and grade (NOT downhill) and conformance to THE
rule
book (SCTA).
