Why should they have their own class? And why treat roadsters special? It's
a car isn't it? Lump 'em all together. And why have all the body classes
anyway? The wheels are either inside the body or they're not. And the engine
class breaks were obviously thought of by some crybaby that didn't want to
run the biggest motor he could. If you are going to race, go for it. Build
that big motor. Why, if we do this right, maybe we can cut it back to just
two classes, Unlimited Streamliner and Unlimited Lakester. But then, why
split hairs when maybe there should just be one class. Are you the fastest
of everything or not. That's all that matters, right?

David,
Maybe to you, but many of us have a little different view of things.
Visit your local NHRA event (if you can find many in your area), read the
NHRA rule book, then take a second look at our LSR events and hopefully
you'll see what motivates many of us. There are many LSR people who are
there because of what's happened to drag racing...........Ardun Doug King
