Since the main basis for this new category is an "aero break" for older
cars. I sure hope the committee gives some consideration to a 25 year cut
off (1949 to 1973), rather than the proposed 1981 target. Maybe this is
something that should be done every 25 years, but that's not the topic at
hand. Just feel that the late 70's and early 80's cars would out class the
older cars right away. Then all you'd have is a new category with a similar
problem.
