I just checked with a local steel supplier, and
he said that when I get as heavy as .120 wall
thickness, he'd have to get mild steel seamless
pipe - it's no longer tubing. He suggests
seamless 1 1/4 i.d. mild steel pipe which has a
wall wall thickness of .140 and a resulting
outside diameter of 1.660, which is just over
1 5/8. Can somebody give me some insight here?
Can I use this stuff? It measures more than 1
5/8 and it's heavier than .120?????
