Hooray for you!!!  Some of these discussions
regarding rules get way out of hand.  I agree
that the rule book is in great health - let it
be!!

yeah right, and let the competitors interpretations be too !!!!      the
scta rule book is fine (and i like simple rules more than anyone here )
****** "IF " ******   scta tech is willing to allow the competitors to
interpret them in a safe,fair way - if the scta tech committee is not
willing to allow interpretation - then the rule book is inadequate - you
cant have both, simple rules cannot coexist without the ability to
interpret them.
