Whatever waiting you do in the staging area, you
will be able to move your machine around under
human power. Are you sure your battery has
enough juice to power your starter and/or
ignition for as long as it's needed. Some of the
newer ignitions ask for a lot of voltage. If
you're running a trusty old mag, then it's no
problem. Since weight is not as critical on top
end as it is in a drag race, why are you running
without a battery? The weight of the battery
would not slow you down a measureable amount.
