Thanks for the report. Nolan has always been a hero of mine. My memory
goes back to the Devin Sports Cars he ran when I first knew him in the
early sixties. He crashed and broke his neck in one of those.
Nolan & Rick ARE true hot rodders, although running low budget and
marginal equipment, they make it work. I talked to him briefly at
starting line during the "World Finals". He told me that he had always
thought that people who ran multi-engine cars were not dealing with a
full deck, but six weeks before "Speedweek" he took a torch to the car
and started the project of adding another engine. As usual he has had
driveline problems to sort out (seems to be his nemesis) and I'm sure he
has other obstacles to overcome, but Nolan is a guy to watch, he doesn't
give up!
