Taught myself a lesson yesterday that I thought was worth sharing....
I was up at Mayf's Place and saw his Tig welding aluminum.. and then I
tried it for myself.... Larry You win your better at it! then yesterday I
was practicing on a huge Tank that I am building for my Business and
something dawned on me.... I was adding lots of 4043 rod...... what I was
supposed to be doing was joining two metals not adding More.....
Backed the heat way down... got the heat in front of me and went slow slow
slow... and the quality of weld went up instantly... used very little
filler and it just worked... amazing..
