per the 99 scta rulebook-gas coupe (pg 55), a "conventional automotive
radiator must be used in the stock location e.g. in front of the engine,
behind the grille" however, it is not specified that a tank is not allowed
in this class. therefore, you may use a radiator AND tank in either a
series or parallel combination for your cooling as long as the requirement
in the above quotation is met. this would not only provide additional
cooling capability , but also extra ballast if desired, and the ability to
compete in gas coupe/altered/comp coupe without cooling system mods.
