I would think that someone who has broken records year after year
constantly improving would be a better criteria.. Yes ??.. I am not a
particular fan of anyone consider all friends.. But what about
Vesco/Nish.. Sure do set a bunch of records I have been with them at
impound many times.. Sometimes it is not the size of the record it is
the constant performance improvement.. Are you suggesting that if I
brought a car out broke the wheel driven record that I would be in line
for the hall of fame ??? I don't think so .... I would decline in all
honesty as it was only one record... History of accomplishment is what a
Hall of Fame should be all about.. What would a kid batting 500 have to
do with Babe Ruth ????? My perspective anyway , just hate to have one
more 'club'.. In all honesty if you really want to encourage people to
participate the club image has to be the first thing to go.. Everybody
gets treated the same and no 'winking' at anything... Every sport has
to have it's own set of idols but is Tiger Woods the same as Ben Hogan
or Arnold Palmer ??? I have said my piece will say no more as I don't
know how I could elaborate any further without it sounding like a
flame..
