experience the weak spot for battery cables is not the type of cable but t=
he connectors. Our Healey=E2=80=99s use 4 Ga stranded and there are two com=
mon options. PVC insulated and rubber insulated. Automotive wire is the PVC=
insulated version and made to an SAE Standard. I would ignore all of this =
and buy a good quality premade cable from a known supplier that has all of =
the proper tools and equipment to properly crimp the end connections.</p><p=
