Many may not realize that Naugahyde comes from Naugatuck, Connecticut. If y=
ou need to replace it, apparently there are still several bands of free-ran=
ging Naugys running throughout Naugatuck. If you are able to catch one (the=
y are fast), you might be able to fashion new Naugahyde seat covers. While =
Naugys reportedly come in different colors, some say that those variations =
are due to the latest pollution in the Naugatuck River (another reason for =
the demise of the former home of Peter & Paul Mounds).

e Mequiar=E2=80=99s natural shine protectant which I will apply to the dash=
board also when it comes from Amazon.=C2=A0Meanwhile, what do you members o=
f this group recommend for the treating the leatherette/Naugahyde on our He=
