Walmart had no problem shipping me a crap-ton of Valvoline VR-1 20W-50; st=

used to ship to me.=C2=A0 The Valvoline saga has some strange twists, a few=
years ago my favorite parts house 'had to pull it off the shelves;' I neve=
r got an explanation there, either.=C2=A0 I haven't seen it on any parts ho=

Hi,=C2=A0 Thanks all.=C2=A0 As is usual there is a lot of good discours=

that did not display the usual statement that it contains ZDDP. =C2=A0For =
decades I have used that oil as it carries proper oil pressure, suites the =
climate, etc. =C2=A0However, if Red Line stopped including ZDDP, I would fi=

Red Line. =C2=A0 So, I sent off an inquiry to Red Line and not getting a ra=

Red Line response did come. =C2=A0The assurance is that Red Line Motor Oil=
10W40 (SKU 11404) contains good ZDDP levels, plenty for an Austin Healey's=
flat tappet cam and lifters; 1225ppm zinc and more importantly 1375ppm pho=
sphorus.

As to their break in additive, their Web site indicates that a half bottl=

16.6 grams.=C2=A0 I have to wonder if adding it to their 10W40 could result=
in too much.=C2=A0 I am just not inclined to experiment. =C2=A0 The 3000=
=E2=80=99s owner=E2=80=99s manual only mentions 30 weight oil, even for tro=

ty.=C2=A0 =C2=A0 I am confident using the 10W40.=C2=A0 I used 10W50 in my =
