Yes. My typo should have read 1-7/8â??. I always thought the Type 14 and 16 
designations were 16ths over the 1â?? base. Hence 1+14/16 and 1+16/16ths.

I am happy to be corrected with your metric dimensions but believe Girling were 
still imperial in the 60â??s.
