I had the radiator on my newly purchased '60 BN7 recored and still fought =
the overheating battle with the car. =C2=A0That included other measures, bu=
t when I got into slow traffic in really ahot weather here in Florida, thin=
gs heated up altogether too quickly. A year or so ago I bought one of the n=
o-name Chinese radiators and eventually installed it. While the jury is sti=
ll out, I think it has improved my cooling. But there are a few negatives. =
=C2=A0The included radiator cap doesn't interchange with the one on a Heale=
y, and I don't know if that cap is available if replacement is necessary. =
=C2=A0Also, the aluminum matrix on the radiator is extremely sensitive to d=
istortion. =C2=A0As there are no fixed nuts on the attachment fixtures at e=
ither side, getting the radiator installed is more difficult and led to som=
e damage that I had to correct. Most troubling, with the radiator in the lo=
west possible position--which means when the hose outlet at the bottom come=
s in contact against the cross member behind the radiator--I found the radi=
ator's tank front corners made contact with the underside of the hood and d=
itto the rear of the radiator cap against the hood cross brace. =C2=A0I ver=
ified those contacts with tabs of modeling clay. I addressed the problem by=
slightly loosening the hood latch, and all seems to be working OK for now.=
=C2=A0Also, I paid more than the price listed in the ad that prompted this=
discussion. =C2=A0I'm hanging onto the original radiator just in case.

Not enough room in front or behind.
They are both performing well but are pricy as you mentioned.=C2=A0=20
I have kept the rebuilt 100 radiator just in case someone wants to go back =
to stock in the future.
