Picking up the Monday Palo Alto Daily Post, I saw a front-page story about a
"late-1950s Austin-Healey" (from the picture a white 100-6 or 3000 "mark I")
that was hit by a Caltrain Baby Bullet on Saturday evening at the Fair Oaks
crossing in Atherton, CA. According to the story, the driver was following GPS
instructions and mistakenly turned on to the tracks, and the car got stuck.
With the train coming, the driver jumped out before the train hit the car. With
the car hit from behind, it burst into flames as it was being pushed a
quarter-mile down the tracks.
The driver wasn't hurt.
Does anyone know anything more about the story?
