I totally agree with Michael. The adding of capacitance ( and the =
possibility of a discharge) to a mixture of gasoline vapors could
be a bad situation. I am involved in getting our company=E2=80=99s =
instruments rated to operate in a hazardous environment ( gas mixtures=20=
in air) and it does not take much of a spark to ignite a mixture of gas =
and air.
