The gauge in our BN2 would register 3/4 full when it was topped-up. We bent the
float arm down a smidge, now it reads bang on. You could try bending yours
up--so the float would be lower--but, of course, full reading might be off.
When you top up, does the gauge register full even after you've burned a few
gallons?
