[Healeys] Heritage seat kits

BT7 interior.

I am starting to install the Heritage interior kit. I noticed that 
the front seat kit bottoms have a seem at one corner. Should the seem 
be place so it is near the door or the transmission tunnel.

Are people putting in a little additional foam along the front edge 
of the seat to fill it out?
