John
Just wipe down the block with metal prep. Prime and paint. No muss, no
fuss.

Subject: [Healeys] Engine cleaning
I had my block cleaned at a machine shop and because I was not able
o paint it right away there is some light rust on the outside.
If I use soda to blast it away should I be concerned if some of the
oda gets into the oil galleries?
I can clean the galleries with solvent but I am curious to know if
he soda might harm the bearings once everything is back together.
