I had my block cleaned at a machine shop and because I was not able to paint it right away there is some light rust on the outside. If I use soda to blast it away should I be concerned if some of the soda gets into the oil galleries? I can clean the galleries with solvent but I am curious to know if the soda might harm the bearings once everything is back together. Tank you, John Spaur San Jose, CA |
