The 100 motor shoud run cool, even with the stock fan setup. If it is
running hot, something is wrong.
First check your temp guage (may be reading hot) and then if that's ok
I'd reccommend power back flushing the block. If the block has too
much scale, it will run hot. Jet hot coating the exhaust manifold is
a good idea aslo. It keeps under bonnet temps down.
Also check timing...
